Kay County Site Terms

These terms govern use of Kay County Released Inmates. By accessing the site, a visitor agrees to follow them. A person who does not accept these terms should stop using the site.

This privately owned site has no government, sheriff, jail, court, or corrections affiliation. Neither it nor its advertising partners is a consumer reporting agency or offers FCRA-covered credit, employment, insurance, or tenant-screening services.

Nature of the Service

Kay County Released Inmates is a private reference service. It stores no official government record and cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or file a request with an agency. It organizes links and explanations for Kay County and Oklahoma custody, release, court, supervision, federal, and immigration resources. Some pages also connect visitors with third-party research tools.

Acceptable Use Rules

Access is conditioned on lawful, respectful use. A visitor agrees:

  • Not to violate a law while using the service
  • Not to stalk, harass, threaten, or harm another person
  • Not to use content for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another regulated eligibility decision
  • Not to seek unauthorized access to systems or accounts
  • Not to use bots, scrapers, or automated extraction tools
  • Not to disrupt the site or interfere with another visitor

FCRA Use Is Prohibited

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It provides no background check, credit report, or consumer report, and neither the site nor its advertising partners offers a screening service. By using the service, a visitor agrees not to rely on its content for:

  • Hiring, firing, promotion, or another employment decision
  • Housing, leasing, or tenant screening
  • Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing
  • Licensing, permits, or government-program eligibility
  • Any other purpose regulated by the FCRA

Links to Outside Services

Links may lead to sheriff and corrections pages, public-record portals, federal locators, legal resources, or private search providers. A link does not endorse the destination. We are not responsible for outside content, uptime, security, pricing, results, or data handling. Review the destination's own terms before using it.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, no warranty is made that:

  • Information will be accurate, complete, or current
  • Access will be continuous or uninterrupted
  • The service will be free of errors, defects, or security weaknesses
  • A partner search will return every relevant record

Custody and public-record data can change quickly. Nothing here is an official statement by Kay County, a sheriff, a court, or another government agency.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Oklahoma law, Kay County Released Inmates and its operators will not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages arising from access to, inability to use, or reliance on the site or any linked service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

A user agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold the site and its operators harmless from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from that user's conduct, misuse of the service, or violation of these terms.

Ownership of Site Material

Text, graphics, logos, design elements, and code belong to Kay County Released Inmates or the applicable content partner. They may not be copied, republished, distributed, modified, or commercially exploited without prior written permission, except where law expressly allows it.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised at any time. A new version takes effect when it is posted. Continued access after a revision means the visitor accepts the updated terms.

Access May Be Revoked

Access may be suspended, limited, or blocked at any time, with or without notice, including when use threatens the service, violates these terms, or harms another person.

Oklahoma Law Controls

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Oklahoma.

If One Term Fails

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. The affected provision will be limited or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.

Questions may be submitted through the Contacts page. That channel cannot provide government records or confirm a person's release.
