Information You Submit
A name, location, or other query entered in a search box is transmitted to the third-party provider that operates the tool. This site does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's policy controls the query once it is submitted.
If you send an email or contact message, we retain the message and the contact details needed to reply. We do not share that correspondence outside the organization unless doing so is required by law or needed to address the request.
Automatic Technical Data
Like most websites, the service may receive routine technical information when a page loads. That information helps operate the site and understand broad usage patterns. It may include:
- Internet Protocol address
- Browser name and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages visited and time spent on them
- The referring site, when one is supplied
- Date and time stamps

Links lead to Kay County offices, Oklahoma corrections and court systems, federal locators, release-record sources, and outside search tools. Each destination applies its own privacy rules after a visitor leaves this site. Review those rules before submitting personal information.
Advertising partners may use their own technology to measure activity across websites and select ads. That tracking occurs on the partner's systems and is governed by the partner's choices and privacy notice.

We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be available to service providers whose work supports the site:

Reasonable, commonly used safeguards are applied to information under our control. No internet connection, server, storage system, or transmission method can be guaranteed secure. This notice does not promise that a breach or unauthorized access can never occur.
Adults Only
The service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If a parent or guardian believes a minor submitted information, use the Contacts page to request review and deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and the ability to verify a request, a person may ask what personal data we hold, request correction of inaccurate data, seek deletion, or object to certain processing. Browser settings also allow users to limit cookies. These choices do not alter records held by Kay County, ODOC, a court, or another government custodian under the Oklahoma Open Records Act or other retention law.

This privacy notice may change as site services or legal duties change. A revised version takes effect when it is posted here with its current effective information. Continued use after publication means the updated notice applies.
